The wonderful Moseley Bog has recently received Heritage funding to improve access for all. At first I was a little concerned that the new walkways had elevated us above nature. Effectively stopping us having to really engage with it and preventing us getting our boots dirty.
Well worn ‘desire lines’ were replaced with wide marked out paths. One of the many things that make the bog magical is that fact that you could momentarily get lost amongst a small area of greenery in the UK’s second city. Thankfully it’s wearing in well and a leafy canopy has developed a protective shroud.
